GOOD SCIENCE AND GOOD WELFARE –
This workshop will consist of a series of updates on current best practice in anaesthesia and pain management in laboratory rodents and rabbits. The seminars will consist of a mix of interactive and problem-based scenarios using web-based software together with short webinar sessions on key topics. The aim of the workshop is to encourage adoption of improved techniques for anaesthesia and peri-operative care, with the goals of maximising the quality of scientific data obtained from studies and optimising the welfare of the animals used.
